It only requires a willingness to believe that the One who built tomorrow is the same One who carried you through yesterday.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-spacer stk-block-spacer stk--no-padding stk-block stk-b418a60\" data-block-id=\"b418a60\"><style>.stk-b418a60 {height:100px !important;}<\/style><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\">I know exactly what to do, how to do it, BUT I can\u2019t do it!<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\">There&#8217;s a heaviness I carry that I can only describe as a toxic lack of motivation: no energy, no hunger, no ambitious drive. At first, I thought it was laziness. Then I thought it was depression. But the longer I sat with it, the more I realized what it actually is: <strong>I don&#8217;t trust the future, even worse, I can\u2019t unsee a dark future,\u2026 so why bother!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\">And here&#8217;s the strange part \u2014 my present is genuinely good. A hundred times better than the frightening future I once imagined for myself growing up as a kid or a teenager. By any honest measure, I have been given more than enough. And yet I cannot just learn from it and picture a similar good tomorrow. I can\u2019t begin to imagine good days ahead for me or my dreams. I cannot feel it.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\">And honestly, for a believer in God, this confession runs deeper than anxiety or confusion.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\">For a believer, <em>the future is just another name for God.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\">What I am really confessing above is this: <strong>I don&#8217;t trust God&#8217;s plan for me<\/strong> \u2014 even if God has been nothing but generous with me, nothing but merciful to me in my darkest hours.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\">So where does this distrust come from? And like any relationship, it has terms: You do your part; God does His. But when we break those terms \u2014 when we give in to what we know we shouldn&#8217;t, when we choose our desires over our wellbeing \u2014 something in us shifts.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\">Consciously, we tell ourselves stories. We rationalize, minimize, and explain away our desire-driven actions. But the unconscious is not so easily fooled; deep beneath the surface, guilt pools into insecurity, and insecurity transforms into dread. We begin to expect punishment because, on some level, we believe we deserve it. The &#8220;unconscious deserved dark future&#8221; becomes a fog we can&#8217;t see through.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\">This is the subtle cruelty of sin: it doesn&#8217;t just hurt the present, <strong>it darkens the horizon<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-spacer stk-block-spacer stk--no-padding stk-block stk-a7cc885\" data-block-id=\"a7cc885\"><style>.stk-a7cc885 {height:50px !important;}<\/style><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-heading stk-block-heading stk-block-heading--v2 stk-block stk-0205921\" id=\"strong-strong-span-style-color-var-theme-palette-color-2-4-b-7878-class-stk-highlight-span-style-color-var-theme-palette-color-2-4-b-7878-class-stk-highlight-strong-strong-strong-span-style-color-var-theme-palette-color-2-4-b-7878-class-stk-highlight-strong-strong-strong-strong-strong-strong-2-the-whisperer-strong-strong-strong-strong-strong-strong-span-strong-strong-strong-span-span-strong-strong\" data-block-id=\"0205921\"><style>.stk-0205921 {margin-bottom:16px !important;}<\/style><h3 class=\"stk-block-heading__text\"><strong><strong><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-2, #4b7878);\" class=\"stk-highlight\"><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-2, #4b7878);\" class=\"stk-highlight\"><strong><strong><strong><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-2, #4b7878);\" class=\"stk-highlight\"><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>2- The Whisperer&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-10, #212121);\" class=\"stk-highlight\"><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\">This one is ancient, and God warned us about it repeatedly.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"gspb_text-id-gsbp-7374968\" class=\"gspb_text gspb_text-id-gsbp-7374968 \"><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/alifscript.com\/index.php\/2024\/12\/27\/quran-as-a-scripture\/\" title=\"\">Quran<\/a> is clear on this: one of Satan&#8217;s primary weapons is <em>despair<\/em>. <\/span><br><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\">When desire and temptation cannot cause you to fall, the devil switches tactics: he whispers of poverty and promises suffering. He tells you the future is already sealed in darkness, that you are alone and weak, so why bother? Why try? Why resist?<\/span><br><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\"><br>The whisper takes many forms:<br><em>&#8220;It won&#8217;t work out for you.&#8221;<\/em> <\/span><br><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\"><em>&#8220;Sinful people like you don&#8217;t get good endings.&#8221;<\/em> <\/span><br><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\"><em>&#8220;Enjoy what you have now, it&#8217;s all downhill from here.&#8221;<\/em><\/span><br><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\"><br>This is not pessimism; this is <strong>spiritual sabotage<\/strong>. they are architecturally designed to hold your attention through alarm and addiction.<\/span><br><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\"><br>This is what I call our <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Pseudo-mythology\" title=\"\">pseudo-God<\/a>, <\/strong>our uninterrupted fortune teller: the media that tells us what to fear, what to want, and what to expect, burying the Divine voice that speaks of providence, sustenance, and <em>protection<\/em> under a shiny dump of insecurity and fear.<br>War, collapse, economic stress, diseases, distrust and stupidity&#8230; Threat after threat, loop after loop, until you begin to feel that the present is already lost and the future is the inevitable collapse that logically follows.<\/span><br><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\"><br><strong>And by force of repetition, it wins. It convinces you that stress is wisdom, that accumulation is safety, that vigilance is virtue. It tells you: forget about fixing what&#8217;s in front of you, just prepare for what&#8217;s coming.<\/strong><\/span><br><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\"><br>And slowly, without noticing, we stop trusting. Preserve Your Connection with the Sustainer<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"gspb_text-id-gsbp-439dde2\" class=\"gspb_text gspb_text-id-gsbp-439dde2 \"><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\">As a Believer (Muslim), the toolkit here is ancient and proven against the Devil\u2019s schemes:<\/span><br><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\"><br>Pray, not as a ritual of obligation, but as a genuine conversation, a <strong>reaching out <\/strong>toward the One who sees you and knows all about you and your situation.<\/span><br><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\">Read the Quran, not to finish it, but to learn the Divine laws and patterns that govern nations and individuals before you, to rediscover God\u2019s mercy with his creation.<\/span><br><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\"><br>Remember God often, in the small moments, the ordinary hours. Make Peace with Your Own Contradictions<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-10, #212121);\" class=\"stk-highlight\"><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\"><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\"><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\"><strong><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\">And this is the hardest one. <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"gspb_text-id-gsbp-23daf9a\" class=\"gspb_text gspb_text-id-gsbp-23daf9a \"><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\">I call them contradictions because, in the case of desires, you are both the one who hurts and the one who is hurt, the oppressor and the oppressed. And It hides under schemes and persistence.<\/span><br><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\"><br>And the solution is not always stronger willpower.<br>Sometimes <strong>the solution is distance<\/strong>. This is a lesson from God. His guidance in the Quran is not simply <em>&#8220;don&#8217;t do it&#8221;<\/em> \u2014 it is <em>&#8220;don&#8217;t even come near it.&#8221;<\/em> And the distinction matters enormously: the cure is not just internal resistance and determination; it&#8217;s <strong>environmental consciousness<\/strong>.<\/span><br><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\"><br>No acceptance or adaptation to social or workplace corruption. No apps or devices that make access to sin frictionless. No closed-door situations that incite temptation. No circles of friends who normalize sin\u2026<br>Instead, build an environments that make righteousness easy, natural and even enjoyable.<\/span><br><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\"><br>Add to that: Repent regularly, make it a practice, not an event.
