They were of all colors, from blue-eyed blondes to black-skinned Africans. But we were all participating in the same ritual, displaying a spirit of unity and brotherhood that my experiences in America had led me to believe never could exist between the white and the non-white. America needs to understand Islam because this is the one religion that erases from its society the race problem. You may be shocked by these words coming from me. But on this pilgrimage, what I have seen and experienced has forced me to rearrange much of my thought patterns previously held<\/span>.<strong><span style=\"color: var(--theme-palette-color-4, #111518);\" class=\"stk-highlight\"><strong><strong><strong>\u2019<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong> <\/span><\/strong><br>\u00a0<br>The pilgrimage is the fifth pillar of <a href=\"https:\/\/alifscript.com\/index.php\/2025\/01\/11\/what-makes-islam-the-truth\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Islam<\/a>. It is the only form of worship that combines all the components of any worship: spiritual, physical, and financial. Returning in despair to Ishmael, she prayed for God\u2019s mercy and saw the baby scratching the ground with his leg. A water fountain sprang forth underneath his foot, uncovering a source of water that had been providing water for thousands of years. It is called the Zamzam well.<br><br>When Abraham returned, he was commanded to build the Kaaba, which he did with the help of Ishmael. the Kaaba became surrounded by pagan idols.<br><br>\u00a0In AD 630, the last prophet of God, Muhammad (PBUH), led his followers from Medina to Mecca, cleansed the Kaaba by destroying all the pagan idols, and consecrated the building to God.
